On Saturday 12 March 2016, the Taxi Charity held a 1940s evening at the newly refurbished Worppell pub in Ware.
Twenty veterans and their guests, along with a few members of the Taxi Charity committee, attended the singalong evening, where they were serenaded by the talented Ms Luna Nightingale. Veterans Peter Kent and Danny McCrudden also did a turn, and Tom Schaffer, James Corrigan and Tom Whetherall sang as a trio.
Terry and Heather kindly supplied the buffet.
