Sadly another old soldier departs us, Ted Roberts. Ted was discharged from the Army twice because he lied about his age. They finally let him stay on the third attempt and he eventually ended up in the 2nd Battalion, Glasgow Highlanders. RIP Ted.
Ted's funeral service will be held at Hither Green Crematorium at 11:30am on Tuesday 13 October 2015.
