Lt General Royal Artillery (ret) Ted Meines, who passed away on Christmas Eve, never stopped thanking the Allies for his, and the people of The Netherlands, liberation.
He gave a wonderful speech at our veterans lunch in the Bronbeek in May 2015: "The warm feelings I have with your country and with your soldiers is most wonderful".
