On Thursday 22 November, the Taxi Charity organised a day trip to Harwich to celebrate the retirement of Paul Newbiggin, after 41 years at Stena Ferries.
Paul and his team have been extremely helpful and supportive to us since we began visiting the Netherlands on a regular basis, back in 2012.
He has arranged discounts and upgrades, and his staff always go the extra mile to ensure the veterans are well looked after.
So it was lovely to be able to take our collectors to Harwich for a pub lunch and invite Paul along.
Dick Goodwin presented Paul with a glass trophy as a token of our thanks for all he has done for the Taxi Charity.
