I can honestly say that the Taxi Charity for Military Veterans has totally changed my life. Over the last seven years they have given me so many wonderful experiences.
I have travelled many times to the Netherlands and France, had outings to Worthing, attended their annual Christmas lunch and been privileged to be invited to events at the RAF Club, Biggin Hill and the Merchant Taylor’s Hall.
Last year I had the absolute honour of lighting the Flame of Independence in the Netherlands which was televised across the country.
Thanks to the determination of the charity, I was presented with my Légion d’Honneur in Normandy in 2019 and have probably spoken to every newscaster you can think of about this marvellous charity.
This year I will be fortunate to be going to Normandy and the Netherlands with the Taxi Charity, and I will be forever grateful to them for enriching my life so splendidly.
