Kind words from veterans thanking the Taxi Charity for Christmas stockings and greeting cards

Thank you all so much for the Christmas stocking and greeting cards, and for the hard work you put in, not only at Christmas, but all year round. It is very much appreciated. I enjoyed reading the recent newsletter, too, especially the article about Seb’s visit to the Italian battlefields this year.

How lovely to receive such a fabulous Christmas stocking, filled with chocolates and sweets - it made me feel like a child again. The Christmas card from the Taxi Charity was beautiful and it all really cheered me up no end. A sincere thank you for your generosity and for all you do for us veterans.

A huge thank you to the Taxi Charity for all you have been doing to keep our spirits up this year. You are all absolutely brilliant and I can’t wait to get back collecting for the charity.

Roy Nash

RAF, 57 Bomber Squadron

The Taxi Charity has been so good to us this year. It is so lovely to open the post and receive things like the newsletters, or cards and booklets commemorating D-Day, VE-Day and VJ-Day, as well as other important dates like Easter and St. George’s Day. It makes such a huge difference to receive this regular contact from the charity and to know that there is always someone at the end of the phone if you need any help or just a natter.
