The Taxi Charity recently escorted a number of veterans to the Netherlands for the 2023 Dutch Liberation commemorations. The group included WWII veteran, Marie Scott (96), who was invited to light the Liberation Flame - she was the first female veteran to have this honour. Here's an overview of their itinerary and some wonderful photos.

A huge thank you for our police escort from the Hook of Holland to Wageningen last Wednesday, and then back again on Saturday. As usual when we travel to the Netherlands for the Liberation commemorations, these journeys, with our precious veterans on board, go wonderfully smoothly thanks to the police who close the roads to allow our taxis to travel in convoy.
