Prince Charles praises cab trade, TAXI magazine

Prince Charles praised the charitable work of the cab drivers when he met a much-loved taxi charity’s volunteers at the Ambassador of Netherland’s reception.

The Taxi Charity for Military Veterans had the privilege of being invited to the reception at Hartenstein Museum on September 21.

During the event its Chairman Ian Parsons and Vice President Dick Goodwin had the honour of chatting with the heir to the throne.

They explained to Prince Charles the reason why they were in the Netherlands, which was to drive veterans to events to commemorate Operation Market Garden in black cabs.

Prince Charles said he had a high regard for the charitable work of the cab trade and specifically the Taxi Charity for Military Veterans.
